- A Pokedex of over 400 different species.
- Updated movesets from up to the Island of Armor.
- HMs have been replaced with items.
- Two types of way to encounter Pokemon: Overworld encounters along with Random encounters.
- Battle points return in a big way, thanks to the Technical Record shops scattered throughout the region.
- Get regional variants through trading with various NPCs throughout the game.
